Alongside therapy, I offer consultation to clinicians and other professionals.

Writing gender-affirming surgery letters

I provide consultation and teach other professionals how to write letters of support for gender-affirming surgery using an informed-consent model (as compared to a gatekeeping model), using WPATH Standards of Care version 8. I can help teach you how to write letters that meet insurance and surgeon requirements while keeping the process straightforward and collaborative for your client.

Using AI ethically in your practice

I follow AI closely using critical and ethical frameworks to evaluate impact and identify risks and benefits of use in a practice. Consultation focuses on helping you figure out if AI tools fit in your practice, or evaluate existing use. That includes protecting client privacy, getting informed consent, and keeping up with new rules such as Rhode Island's 2026 laws on AI in mental health care.

Private practice set up and problem solving

I offer help thinking through and deciding on the many different aspects of setting up and running a private practice. In addition to any consultation session, I provide significant downloadable resources to help guide decision making, and avoid costly mistakes that take time away from clinical practice.

How it works

Each of the above consultation services varies in time investment and cost. Usually, two to three 90 minute sessions is enough to get someone started. This is paired with downloadable resources to support between the consultation sessions, and so you can continue learning after the consultation is done. Consultation sessions are $400 per session.
